You can delete your PushUp Challenge account and the data we hold about you at any time. The account is operated by Fission Ventures Limited, the developer of the PushUp Challenge app for iOS and Android. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1: In the app
- Open PushUp Challenge and go to the Settings tab.
- Under Account, tap Close Account.
- Confirm. You'll be signed out on every device straight away.
This works for every kind of account, including guest accounts created with “continue without account”.
Option 2: Request it here
If you no longer have the app installed, or can't sign in, send us a request with the email address on your account (or the Google or Apple account you signed in with). We'll verify the request from that address and close the account for you. You can also email support@pushup-challenge.com with the subject “Delete my account”.
What happens when you delete
- Immediately: you're signed out everywhere, your account is closed, and you disappear from any league standings.
- 30-day recovery window: if you change your mind, sign back in with the same email, Google or Apple account within 30 days and your account and history are restored exactly as they were.
- After 30 days: the account can no longer be recovered and we permanently delete its data from our systems.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, Google or Apple sign-in identifier, name and display name.
- Your workout history: daily targets, schedule, every logged set and rep, streaks and statistics.
- Your Trainer progress, session records, test results and assessment profile (sex, age band, weight, height, activity level).
- Your league memberships and any leagues you own, together with pending invitations you sent.
- Your settings and reminder preferences.
What is kept
- Subscription records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, which we don't control. Deleting your account does not cancel a premium subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings, or it will keep renewing.
- Support correspondence you've sent us, for as long as needed to resolve it and to defend legal claims.
- A minimal closure record (that an account with your email address was closed, and when) so we can answer later queries about it and prevent abuse.
Guest-mode data is held under an anonymous account with no email address; closing it in the app removes it the same way. Data stored only on your phone is removed when you delete the app.
